Complete Dentures vs. Partial Dentures

Dentures are custom-made from impressions of your mouth taken by your dentist. For full dentures, remaining teeth are removed, and healing time is needed before fitting. Partial dentures are supported by a metal framework attached to natural teeth and can be removed, often including crowns on the natural teeth.

To ensure the longevity of your partial or complete dentures, proper care and regular maintenance are essential. Visit your dentist at least once a year for adjustments, as dentures may require relining, remaking, or rebasing to maintain a proper fit.
